Shutters Enhance Security for Retailer

Problem
A jewelry store was worried about additional break-ins following a civil disturbance and needed to enhance security while maintaining the high-end aesthetic of the store.
Solution
DH Pace installed 5 high security rolling aluminum shutters over the store’s existing glass entrance. The shutters feature in-tube operators and aluminum slats to closely match their existing storefront aesthetic. The shutters range from 2-feet-8-inches wide to 6-feet-8-inches wide and are 9-feet tall.
All of the shutters are daisy-chained to the same activations (2 remote controls and 1 exterior-mounted key-switch), so they all raise and lower at the same time at the same speed. Storefront tubing was used to create horizontal barriers on some windows that were too small to accept a shutter but large enough that someone could easily get through if the store windows were broken again.
The result is a secure storefront and peace of mind for the store owner.
