Property Management Firm Stays on Budget with Upgraded Garage Doors

INTRO

A property management company wanted to upgrade the look of garages within their multi-family construction project and stay within budget.

PROBLEM

The luxury apartment community was created to accommodate upscale lifestyles and offered resort-inspired amenities. The property management company wanted to extend the upscale look and feel to the garage areas as well, but they also had a specific budget to maintain. They wanted recommendations as to how to give the 280-unit facility unique look within their project scope.

SOLUTION

To achieve a more custom look, DH Pace recommended that they avoid the traditional raised panel design commonly used for garage doors on these types of projects and instead, suggested garage doors with a wainscot-inspired panel design.

In addition to the wainscoting-look, DH Pace recommended adding decorative hardware to the garage doors for a carriage house door look. The property management selected spear-shaped decorative hardware to complement the upscale garage doors. This combination was more aesthetically pleasing than bare doors and fit very well within the mood of the luxury apartment complex.

CONCLUSION

DH Pace provided over 280 garage doors, complete with decorative hardware, garage door operators and remotes, as well as exterior keypad entry systems. Although the project was complex in that there were a large the number of buildings with different exterior garage door designs, DH Pace executed the plan on time and without issue. The property managers stayed within their original budget for this part of their project and scored the luxury living quality they wanted for the garages across the property.
